The government of Gbudue State and the main SPLA-IO in Re-Langu in Yambio commits to implement and respect the recent South Sudan Peace agreement signed Khartoum.
 
Gbudue State government invited the main opposition to join the citizens in the town for peace celebration.
 
Addressing thousands of citizens at Yambio freedom square, the commander of the SPLA-IO in Gbudue state Gen. James Nando declares all roads in the SPLA-IO controlled areas to open.
 
He assures that nobody will be arrested on those roads again.
 
He calls on his forces to distance themselves from the town to allow police to keep law and order in the town.
 
Nando says they will stay in the bush till the end of the eight-months as stipulated in the revitalized peace accord.
 
He stresses that all guns in the bush and in the town must go silent to allow civilians embark on agriculture.
 
For his part Gbudue State Governor Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa reaffirms the presidential order directing all soldiers to put all guns down.
 
He adds that implementing the revitalized peace requires forgiveness, love, reconciliation and unity.
 
Governor Badagbu calls for free movement within and outside the borer of Gbudue for all.
 
He urges all the SPLA-IO soldiers to cooperate with South Sudan People’s Defence Forces and CTSAM when they come to town to purchase their food.
 
The officials were speaking on Wednesday during peace celebration in Yambio.
