The minister of gender social welfare in Tonj on Friday confirmed that fire out break at one of the Donbosco schools killed three girls in their dormitory. 
 
Deng Mayom explained that the investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
 
Deng regrets the incident and hopes to bring the culprits to book.
 
The Minister conveyed condolence message to the family of the deceased and the government declared three days of mourning in Tonj.
 
The Rector of Sacred Heart parish, Paul Antimi says one part of the school burnt and the cause of the fire is unknown.
 
Father Antimi requests the government to help them establish the cause of the fire.
 
Sister Clare Nakhumicha Wekesa who is in charge of the boarding section was in disbelief of what happened to the girls.
 
Sister Clara prays that may God help them to find the cause of the fire and may the souls of the girls rest in Peace.
